For Silk Almond Dates
- 2 bars Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Chocolate (plain), chopped into smaller piecesBuy
- 20 almonds
- 20 pitted dates
Place the almonds in a bowl of boiling water for 15 minutes. The skin should come off easily or let it continue to soak until it does.
Make a 1-cm-deep and 2.5-cm-long cut to a date surface and place the almond inside. Repeat this for all dates.
Place the chopped Dairy Milk Silk bars in a large glass bowl.
Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stir continuously until chocolate has completely melted.
Dip each date and generously coat it with chocolate on all sides.
Refrigerate to allow the chocolate to set.
