  • 1 cup Cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 nos Egg, beaten
  • 6 nos Oreo CookiesBuy
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 nos sheets of Frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 tsp water

Cooking Instructions

  1. Step 01

    Take a small bowl. Add the cream cheese and sugar. Beat it with a mixer until well combined.

  2. Step 02

    Add the vanilla extract and 2tbsp egg. Mix well.

  3. Step 03

    Take 5 Oreo Cookies. Chop them coarsely.

  4. Step 04

    Stir the cookies into the cream cheese mixture. Place the mixture in the refrigerator.

  5. Step 05

    Take a board. Sprinkle some flour on it. Roll out one pastry sheet into a 13x9-inch rectangle. Cut it into six circles with a 4-inch cookie cutter. Repeat with the remaining pastry sheets. Use a fork to prick multiple holes in the pastry sheet.

  6. Step 06

    Mix the rest of the egg with the water until well-combined. Brush it onto the edges of the pastries. Save some of the egg water mix for later use.

  7. Step 07

    Add one heaping teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the centre of each pastry circle. Fold the pastry circles in half. Use a fork to seal the edges.

  8. Step 08

    Take a baking sheet. Cover it with parchment paper.

  9. Step 09

    Place the empanadas on the prepared baking sheet. Brush them with the remaining egg water mix.

  10. Step 10

    Finely crush the remaining Oreo Cookie. Sprinkle it over the empanadas.

  11. Step 11

    Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the empanadas turn golden brown.

  12. Step 12

    Let them cool completely, and then refrigerate for an hour. Oreo Empanadas are ready!
